Salvia Officinalis (Sage):
This ingredient’s leaf has effects on fasting glucose levels. Its metformin-like effects on hepatocytes suggest that sage may be useful as a food supplement in the prevention of Type 2 Diabetes mellitus by lowering the plasma glucose of individuals at risk.

Bilberry leaves (rather than the fruit) may be helpful for improving blood sugar control in diabetes, and also in lowering blood triglycerides.
